Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 8 September 2026

Before this goes live: fill in your name/business details in Section 1 (same as the Privacy Policy), and have this reviewed by a solicitor before relying on it — particularly Section 3. The "not financial advice" language here is written to keep this tool clearly on the "general information" side of the FCA's regulatory line (the same positioning MoneyHelper, the government's own money guidance service, uses) rather than "personal recommendation" — but that's a real legal boundary, not just phrasing, so it's worth a professional's eyes given the financial subject matter. Delete this box once done.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms govern your use of My Future Net Worth (myfuturenetworth.uk), operated by [Your name / business name] ("we", "us", "our"). By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What this site is

My Future Net Worth is a set of free, browser-based calculators for UK financial planning — covering pensions, ISAs, savings, mortgages and Help to Buy. It's designed to help you explore "what if" scenarios and get a general sense of how your finances might look in the future, based on figures and assumptions you enter yourself.

3. This is not financial advice

Nothing on this site constitutes financial, tax, legal, pension, or investment advice, and we are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The calculators provide general projections and estimates based on the information you input and general assumptions about growth rates, inflation, and UK tax/pension rules — they are not personal recommendations, and they don't take into account your full personal circumstances.

Before making any financial decision, we strongly recommend speaking to a qualified, FCA-regulated independent financial adviser. For free, impartial guidance, you can also contact:

  • MoneyHelper — free, government-backed guidance on pensions, savings and money
  • Pension Wise — free guidance specifically on accessing pension pots, for over-50s

4. Accuracy of figures and results

We do our best to keep the default rates, allowances and thresholds used across the calculators (interest rates, ISA limits, pension allowances, State Pension figures, and so on) accurate and up to date, but:

  • They may not reflect the most current official figures at the time you use the site
  • Results are estimates only, calculated from the inputs and assumptions you provide (or the defaults, if unchanged) — actual outcomes will differ, sometimes significantly, from what any calculator projects
  • We give no warranty, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any figure or projection on this site

Always check current rates and allowances against official sources such as gov.uk or HMRC before relying on any figure.

5. No liability for loss

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or reliance on any calculation, figure, or projection it produces — including financial loss, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss. This site is provided free of charge, "as is", with no warranty of any kind.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't legally be excluded under UK law.

6. Your data and the calculators

Everything you enter into a calculator stays in your browser and is never sent to us — see our Privacy Policy for the full detail. Because we never receive or store this information, we have no way to recover it if you lose it (e.g. by closing the tab), and no way to verify or correct it on your behalf.

7. Availability

We don't guarantee this site will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site — or the whole thing — at any time, without notice.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, or any system or network connected to it
  • Use any automated system (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the site in a way that places an unreasonable load on it
  • Copy, reproduce, or reuse the site's code, design, or content for your own commercial purposes without our permission

9. Intellectual property

The site's design, code and content (except where explicitly stated otherwise) belong to us. You're welcome to use the calculators for your own personal financial planning, but you may not copy, redistribute, or republish the site itself, or its underlying code or design, without our permission.

10. Links to other websites

This site links to external websites (e.g. gov.uk, MoneyHelper, HMRC) for your convenience. We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any external site, and linking to them doesn't mean we endorse them.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
